The Evolution of the Executive Talent Agent 
Ideas, view points and more about Personal PR/Web 2.0, Agent Representation and Talent Representation and how all of this compares to and even compliments a traditional job search or business development strategy or the typical things that most people still do today as it pertains to both job and business development opportunity search) and WHY Personal Agents and Publicists (as well as Producers) are not just for celebrities anymore. A robust Personal PR/Web 2.0 presence needs to be added into and become a regular part of "your regular plan" if you want to be seen and be heard above and beyond traditional channels and for the rest of your professional life.

Our only goal is to get our clients hired and match them with the right opportunities --nothing less will do.

The ECMG Agent/PR Representation concept is a very new way to approach a career search and it is hard for some people to (literally swallow!), but as you know by now the way in which people are connecting and meeting for the purpose of career placement is changing too. For the most part, the way executive job search and placement is being handled these days is pretty bad.  Recruiting methods are broken.

I personally think that the ECMG approach is really the best way to maneuver in this current job market and get things accomplished. I can tell you that a lot of great companies and great people are really missing out on one another via the traditional (old-style) executive level employment process -- a process that worked really well in the early 90's.  We are dealing with an overly automated job placement/hiring process and a less than perfect recruiting effort. Bottom line is that the right people are not connecting and there is a void -- plain and simple, but this a void that ECMG can help to fill.

Believe it or not, MOST of the organizations we contact and network with (even those that we approach for the very first time via introduction of a client) absolutely love and endorse the ECMG concept and "new method" of finding and connecting with great executive talent. To hiring parties, our approach ensures that we truly do know the client (candidates) we introduce them too and in a lot of instances, pitch to their organization.  The ECMG brand, service, method (whatever you want to call it!) is becoming more and more accepted as the years go by (the ECMG concept has was conceived in 2000).

I can guarantee that THIS is the way great executive talent will be hired OVERALL in the years to come. It only makes sense that this kind of exceptional talent be represented and endorsed to the business world (makes much more sense then some ridiculous starlet in Hollywood being represented by an AGENT - oh, but maybe in court it is necessary?).  All kidding aside, we are serious here. Career moves and change is serious business.
